PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: 
The City of Oak Grove is needing two personnel to fulfill the membership of the Oak Grove Board of Zoning Adjustment, to meet the requirements of the Oak Grove Zoning Ordinance No. 2021-11. Member requirements include members to be residents of the City of Oak Grove and must be available to attend meetings randomly. Preferences include knowledge of city municipality, ordinances, and/or land use regulations, but not required. If you are interested, please submit a letter in writing to City Hall or email the City Clerk at [email protected] stating your intent to join the board, any and all qualifications, and a brief bio. All members will be appointed by the mayor subject to the approval of city council. Members appointed will be compensated by meetings attended at the rate of $25.00.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: 
The City of Oak Grove needs two personnel to fulfill the full and alternate membership positions for the Oak Grove Ethics Board. To meet the requirements of the Oak Grove Ethics Ordinance No. 2020-14, member requirements include members who have been a resident of the city for at least one (1) year prior to the date of appointment and shall reside in the city throughout the term of office and shall not be a city employee or officer, or the family member of a city employee or officer. The members of the Ethics Board shall be chosen by their known and consistent reputation for integrity and their knowledge of local government affairs and shall be subject to a background check. Members of the ethics board shall be compensated in the amount of $30.00 per attended meeting. The term for a regular member is for three (3) years. All members are appointed by the mayor subject to the approval of the city council.

Preferences include knowledge of city municipality, ordinances, but not required. If you are interested, please submit a letter in writing to City Hall or email the City Clerk at [email protected] stating your intent to join the board, any and all qualifications, and a brief bio. All members will be appointed by the mayor, subject to the approval of city council. Members appointed will be compensated by meetings attended at the rate of $25.00.
