Two week closure scheduled at military railroad crossing
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 15, 2026) – The Department of Defense has notified the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet that it plans to block KY 911 / Thompsonville Lane in Oak Grove from Oct. 26 through Nov. 9 to install a new railroad crossing for the tracks that service Fort Campbell.
This closure will be at the crossing located at approximately the 0.45-mile point of KY 911.
There will be no signed detour. Work is scheduled, weather permitting.
