Oak Grove is the recipient of a 2020 Insurify’s Most Courageous Cities Award.
These cities were awarded based on their residents’ dedication to going above and beyond to serve their communities and nation. The data scientists at Insurify analyzed over 2.5 million insurance applications to determine the city in each state with the highest share of military service members, veterans, and other defenders of public safety such as firefighters, law enforcement officials, and emergency medical technicians.
Theresa Jarvis, Mayor of Oak Grove said, “The City of Oak Grove is proud to be the recipient of this award. We are glad that our city’s individuals who put their lives on the line to protect the public are being recognized for their dedication to the community.”
“These brave individuals who tirelessly put their lives on the line to protect the public, day after day, are admirable in their dedication to their communities,” said Snejina Zacharia, CEO of Insurify. “With this award, we wish to recognize the city in each state that shows an exemplary commitment to the safety of its residents.”
